Garie is a well rounded MMA fighter and an accomplished grappler.
He has been travelling around the world to learn from different gyms to hone his skills. He was one of the selected few chosen by Ultimate Fighting Championship to receive UFC Training Scholarship to train in UFC Performance Institute in Shanghai where he got the chance to learn from world class coaches in world class facility.
As a grappler, he is currently holding the rank of brown belt under the Checkmat Black belt, Professor Alexsandro Machado.
He was part of Singapore's National Wrestling Team and has represented Singapore during the SEA-Australasian Championships, UWW SEA Championships, UWW Asian Championships and was voted Most Outstanding Wrestler in the 2017 National Wrestling Trials.
He also participated and learn the art of Sambo where he represented the nation in the 30th SEA Games in 2019.
Garie Tang would like to share his passion and knowledge of combative sport to those who willing to dedicate themselves to learning.
